About Beaux-arts des Amériques

Beaux-arts des Amériques was founded in Montreal in 2007 by art historian Jacqueline Hébert Stoneberger and collector Lucienne Lefebvre Glaubinger, both ardent proponents of abstract and figurative art. The gallery displays critically acclaimed artists from Canada, the U.S. and Latin America, whose works are exhibited and sold to public and private collections as well as cultural institutions around the world. For those who are passionate about the aesthetics of painterly gestural brushwork, spatial relationships that eclipse the representational, and sophisticated sensuous colour fields, the gallery offers paintings and works on paper that go beyond the cognitive dissonance of the known world into the spontaneous and intuitive landscape of our humanity.
